StonkHQ is a free, informational website at stonkhq.com operated by the owner of that domain (“StonkHQ”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and us. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. What StonkHQ is — and is not

StonkHQ is a presentation and organization tool. When you look up a ticker or company, you are asking to see public information arranged in one place (statements, ratios, charts and similar figures derived from that information).

We do not originate that information. We do not audit it. We do not file it. We are not an exchange, broker, investment adviser, rating agency, or fiduciary. We are not registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission or any other regulator as any of those things.

Underlying facts come from third parties, including the U.S. SEC’s EDGAR system (company filings) and market-data sources such as Yahoo Finance. Your browser requests that public data (or a pass-through that only fetches the URL you asked for). StonkHQ arranges what comes back. You requested the lookup; we did not invent the numbers.

An account is optional. It is for saved customizations (and similar features we add later). It is not required to look a ticker up, and it does not change where the filing and price data comes from.

Those third parties have their own terms. We are not affiliated with the SEC, Yahoo, TradingView, or any issuer. If a source is delayed, wrong, incomplete, or blocks the request, that is not our data and not our fault.

2. Not advice. Not a recommendation. Not an offer.

Nothing on StonkHQ is investment, trading, tax, legal, accounting, or other professional advice. Nothing is an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or other instrument. Figures may be delayed, restated, missing, mis-tagged, or computed incorrectly. Past figures are not a guide to the future. You alone decide what, if anything, to do. You must verify every number against original filings and a source you trust before you rely on it.

3. As-is. No warranties.

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITH ALL FAULTS, AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

We do not warrant that calculations (including ratios, valuation series, per-share figures, totals, or derived quarters) match an issuer’s own presentation, a professional terminal, or EDGAR. Tag mapping, currency, restatements, fiscal calendars, and missing filings routinely produce gaps and mistakes.

4. Assumption of risk

You use StonkHQ entirely at your own risk. That includes the risk of losing money, missing a filing, acting on a wrong number, downtime, rate limits, and third-party outages. You assume the entire cost of any damage or loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.

5. No liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STONKHQ AND ITS OPERATOR, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS — INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR LOST-PROFITS DAMAGES, AND INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, TRADING LOSSES, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR RELIANCE ON ANY FIGURE OR CHART — WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE.

IF A COURT IN A JURISDICTION THAT DOES NOT ALLOW A FULL WAIVER FINDS US LIABLE ANYWAY, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IN THE AGGREGATE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US TO USE STONKHQ IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR TEN U.S. DOLLARS (US $10), WHICHEVER IS GREATER. THE SITE IS FREE, SO THAT AMOUNT IS US $10 UNLESS YOU PAID US MORE.

Some places do not allow certain exclusions. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted. These Terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded (for example, liability for fraud or for death caused by negligence, where such a rule applies to you).

6. Your responsibility

Automated access is allowed only within the published rate limits and only for your personal, non-commercial use of the site. We may throttle, suspend, or block accounts and network addresses at our discretion, including to protect the service or to stay within third-party limits.

7. Accounts

You do not need an account to look things up. If you create one, you must provide accurate information, keep your credentials to yourself, and you are responsible for activity under that account. We may refuse, suspend, or delete accounts. Customizations stored on an account are provided as-is and may be lost.

7b. Search statistics

When you look up a ticker we record that a lookup happened (symbol, time, coarse country; and account id if you are signed in). We may use, license, and sell aggregated or de-identified statistics derived from those lookups — for example how often a symbol is searched. We do not sell a personal profile of your searches. Using the site is consent to that anonymous counting, which is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The StonkHQ name, design, and software are ours or our licensors’. Charts use TradingView Lightweight Charts™. Public filings remain subject to the SEC and the issuing company. You do not get any license to copy the site, its code, or a systematic extract of organized data.

9. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless StonkHQ and its operator from any claim, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable lawyers’ fees) arising out of your use of the site, your decisions, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Changes and availability

The site may change, break, or go away at any time without notice. We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new date. Continued use after a change is acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the site.

11. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the site. If a part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may assign these Terms; you may not. A waiver has to be in writing. Headings are for reading convenience only.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of stonkhq.com, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where the law allows, you agree that claims will be brought only in a court with jurisdiction over that operator, and you waive class, collective, and representative actions to the maximum extent permitted.
